THD offers a variety of public health internships and practicums. Our clinics, health promotion, outreach programs and environmental health programs can offer experiential learning opportunities to meet the requirements of an internship or practicum, as well as provide a hands-on approach to learning about public health. We work with students who need to complete an internship and/or observation hours as a degree requirement. THD will make every effort to place students, however, internships are not guaranteed and are based upon availability and the needs of THD.
Prospective students must complete an Internship/ Practicum application to be considered for placement.
